Bay windows are a three (3) window, factory assembled structure consisting of the head, sides, seat and the windows mounted with them. Vinylume builds Bays up to a maximum of 12 Feet in width. Most commonly, they consist of a non-venting (picture) window in the center and your customer's choice of either Series 1000 Double Hungs or Series 300 Casements on each side. If your customer wishes, we can supply the Bay as a non-venting unit, but the customer looses the ability to ventilate the room, using the side windows of the unit.

Bay windows are popular because they add a great distinctive touch to a home. On the inside, the Bay adds light to the room and creates the effect of making the room seem larger than it really is.

Vinylume's Series 1000 windows offer an Energy Star qualified version; the Series 300 Casements will also soon offer an Energy Star qualified version. The Energy Star qualification for the windows is achieved by use of Low-E glass and Argon gas fill between the two (2) panes of glass. This is a great energy saving option that is well worth your customer's while to look into with you; do them a favor and suggest it to them.

Colors and finishes available: Standard is White; at modest extra cost Beige, Brown, Cream White and Sand Tone are available. Finishes at affordable prices are Light Oak Wood Grain on White, Light Oak Wood Grain on Beige and Dark Oak Wood Grain on White are available.
