Series 350 Awning Windows: These windows open outward, being hinged from the top, such that the bottom swings outward. The advantage of this method of opening the window is that it keeps a lot of rain out when it is open. Awning windows are usually wider than they are high, which gives them a distinctive shape. We can supply them to you with either a push-rod opening mechanism (for the greatest opening) or an optional crank out mechanism for the sake of convenience.

• The awning window may be supplied without an opening mechanism in a non-opening (or non-venting) configuration. It then acts as a "picture" window. (See "Picture Window" for more information about the non-operating windows).
• Single point latches, one at each end of the window, secure it against opening.
• Insulated glass unit is 1" over-all.
• An available low price option is Low-E glass with argon gas fill. This is an option that you ought to suggest to your customers. Energy prices are going to continue upward; this option will help save money for your customers.
• Vinylume can combine venting non-venting windows in factory mulled units, ready for installation in your customer's home. Or, you may mull combinations of windows on the job site if this is more convenient for you.
• Colors and finishes available : Standard is White; at available extra cost, Beige, Brown, Cream White and Sand Tone. Finishes offered are Light Oak Wood Grain on White; Light Oak Wood Grain on Beige and Dark Oak Wood Grain on White.
