Vinylume Products Inc., entered into business in 1964, providing quality aluminum railings to the construction industry. Seeing a need for vinyl windows to be filled in the Youngstown, Ohio area, we devoted ourselves solely to the manufacture of fenestration products in 1966. Since 1977, we have been extruding our own vinyl window extrusions. Vinylume has been experiencing steady upward growth, particularly in the replacement window market. Although we are strong in the replacement window market, we haven't neglected the new construction market; we recently have developed our double hung window with an integral nailing fin and J channel as part of it, the Series 4000. This series complements our "flagship" window, the Series 1000 double hung available with or without an optional nail fin and J channel and our completely welded Series 3000 double hung window. We also offer the Series 2000 single hung window; for those who want casement or awning windows, we offer the Series 300 and Series 350 respectively. Vinylume, aware of the need to continually keep abreast of the times brought forth it's Energy Star qualified window. It is a part of the Series 1000 and is designated as the 1000E. In addition to the windows we have added, over the years, Vinylume has added colors and finishes to its windows. To our standard white, we added in past years, an optional beige and optional brown color for all our windows. Now, available on the Series 1000 and Series 300 windows, we have added optional colors of creme white and sand tone. To our dark oak wood grain on white, we have recently added these finishes: Light oak wood grain on white and light oak wood grain on beige. The standard white color comes with the window price; all other colors and the wood grain finishes are optional at extra cost. Vinylume also builds specialty windows such as bow, bay, box bay and garden windows for the residential window market. We also provide special shapes such as trapezoids, triangles, arches, etc to further enhance the appearance of your home and give it a distinctive look you will be proud of. We're not just another window company in the residential window market.
