Picture windows do not open, or as we say, "vent". They add a cheerful quality to a room by allowing in light and providing you and your family with a pleasant outdoor view. Your contractor can install our picture windows into almost any opening in any room you choose, by themselves. Or, the picture window can be a part of a combination of windows, for example, like two (2) opening casement windows with a picture window in the middle, between them. When you order a Bay window, Box Bay window or a Garden window, the picture window is a part of these structural windows. (See Specialty windows). We offer the picture window, by itself, in these series:

Series 1000: Our mechanically fastened and chemically welded frame and sash window. Like all the Series 1000 windows, the picture window has 7/8" overall insulated glass in it.

Colors and finishes available: Standard color is White; available are affordably priced colors such as Beige, Brown, Cream White and Sand Tone. Finishes offered at modest extra cost are Light Oak Wood Grain on White; Light Oak Wood Grain on Beige and Dark Oak Wood Grain on White.

Energy Star: The Series 1000 window, when ordered with Low-E and Argon gas is our Energy Star qualified window. Consider this low price option in these high cost of energy times. You'll be glad you did.

Series 2000: This is our thermally welded frame and mechanically fastened, chemically welded sash window. The frame has an integrally extruded nailing fin for use in new construction or the nailing fin can be removed for replacement window work. Like all the Series 2000 windows, the picture window has 5/8" overall glass in it.

Colors and finishes available: Standard color is White; available are easily affordable Beige and Brown. We do not offer the wood grain finishes on the Series 2000 window.

Series 3000: Vinylume's thermally welded frame and thermally welded sash series of replacement windows. The insulated glass units are 7/8" overall.

Colors and finishes available: Standard color is White: available are easily affordable Beige and Brown. We do not offer the wood grain finishes on the Series 3000 window.

Series 4000: Our thermally welded frame and thermally welded sash window. The frame has an integrally extruded nailing fin with a J-channel, for new construction use. The insulated glass units are 7/8" overall.

Colors and finishes available: Standard color is White; available are easily affordable Beige and Brown. We do not offer the wood grain finishes on the Series 4000 window.
