Vinylume's Casement windows are truly impressive! They have a thermally welded frame and sash, with a smooth operating mechanism. The operating mechanism permits you easily and conveniently reposition the sash so you can wash the outside from within the safety and comfort of your own home. Of course, the operating mechanism's cranks and the locking latch are color keyed to the window. Did we say locking latch? We almost forgot to say that each sash on a venting casement has two (2) or more latches (depending on it's height) that tighten it in securely against the frame and lock it conveniently with the closing of one latch handle. Venting Casements open outwardly, like English windows do, for ventilation purposes. All Casement windows, whether venting (they swing open) or non-venting (they are like a Picture Window) have 1" overall insulated glass in their sash. The Casement is truly a terrific window.

Available variations of the Casement: Your contractor can provide our Casement to you either as a single window or as combinations of two (2), the Twin Casement, or three (3), the Triple Casement.

Twin Casement: Vinylume can supply your contractor with either two (2) Casements mulled into a single frame or two (2) separate Casements that he can mull together on the job site. Any combination can be supplied, either both venting (opening) or non-venting or one (1) venting, the other non-venting, according to your needs and wishes.

Triple Casement: When your contractor suggests the installation of three (3) Casements, we can provide them for him. Again, Vinylume can provide three (3) separate Casements that the contractor can mull together on site or we can put all three (3) windows into one welded frame. Not only do we provide the Triple Casement in combinations of venting (opening) and non-venting (non-opening) windows, we even give you a choice of Proportional or Equalite. The Proportional Triple Casement's middle window is equal the size of both end windows; or, it's in the proportion of 1/4-1/2-1/4. On the other hand, the Equalite has all three (3) windows of the same size; or, in the proportion of 1/3-1/3-1/3. In both options of the Triple Casement, most homeowners order them with the center window being a non-venting or Picture window. Very often, homeowners choose venting (opening) windows at each end of the Triple Casement.

Colors and finishes available: Our standard color is White; available at minimal extra cost are Beige, Brown, Cream White and Sand Tone. Finishes offered at affordable extra cost are: Light Oak Wood Grain on White; Light Oak Wood Grain on Beige and Dark Oak Wood Grain on White.
